Backbone of Life necklace

Backbone of Life necklace is naturally formed vertebrae bone I cast from a tiny little animals skeleton I found on a long walk in Tasmania. This piece is beautiful from all angles and can be worn any way around.

I have always been obsessed with the human body, especially the way the spine connects with vertebrae. The spine is the source of all our energy - it is the axis for the human body, which acts as a connecting link between Earth and the heaven. The spine is the first structure that forms inside the womb. From here, everything, body, limbs etc. take root.
