Introducing the Heart's Ashes Ring, a heartfelt tribute to my beloved Frida and a celebration of her remarkable life. This exquisite piece joins my Memorial Jewellery collection, thoughtfully designed to honour the memory of your cherished ones.
Crafted with meticulous care, the Heart's Ashes Ring can be fashioned in 9k Yellow, Rose, or White Gold, as well as Sterling Silver. Its centrepiece is a uniquely handcrafted stone, composed of High-Grade Resin, Pastel powder, and a trace of Ashes. In the creative process, I collaborated with my talented sculptor sister, Lauri, experimenting with ceramics, clay, and porcelain before discovering the perfect resin-pastel fusion. My aim was to craft an original and enduring piece of mourning jewellery, one that would serve as a fitting tribute to all loved ones.
Mourning jewellery has always held a special place in my heart. It was among the very first types of jewellery I began collecting during my travels to small antique shops across Australia and Europe. I've long been fascinated by the stories and memories woven into each piece, as they serve as meaningful tokens of remembrance, revealing the deeper, more profound facets of the world of jewellery.
Ultimately, the Heart’s Ashes Ring is a tribute to the time shared with loved ones and memento mori, the inevitability to death. It keeps love close, and these memories alive.
