“The eyes are the windows to your soul.”

If you’ve been following my Insta lately, you might have seen a quick behind the scenes of my brand new “Night's Eye” ring & necklace! Set with a Blue Sapphire, this brand new collection comes in both a pendant and a ring, perfect as an accent piece!

Inspired by the Evil Eye motif, the “Night's Eye,” the enamel eye-shaped pendant features a navy crescent moon with a blue sapphire pupil.

The eye is one of the most powerful symbols known to many cultures. It can be an indicator ofgood, evil, protection, wisdom, knowledge, secrecy and mystery. Eyes are probably the most important symbolic sensory organ. They can represent clairvoyance, omniscience, and/or a gateway into the soul. Other qualities that eyes are commonly associated with are: intelligence, light, vigilance, moral conscience, and truth. 

Aside from its symbolism, for me the eyes are the most powerful and meaningful part of the human body. Eyes are windows to the soul because they are the most honest part of the face. Here are some of my favourite eye quotes;

Eye talismans are often used to ward off evil spirits and good luck, but it is also believed that if the piece is bought and gifted to you, the protection is increased through the gesture. This particular design is enhanced by a Blue Sapphire, creating a beautiful sparkle in the sunlight. The blue sapphire is also often used in the ancient times as a symbol of protection, fortune, royalty and strength.
