OUR METALS
Our jewellery is made from 100% Australian gold. All of our sourcing and production is in Australia, so we know exactly where our materials come from, how they've been processed, and that no one is exploited for the jewellery we make.
Most "gold" jewellery is base metal dipped in a microns-thin skin of gold. A few years of wear and it rubs through, dulls, and tarnishes.
Ours is solid 9ct gold from surface to core — there's nothing to wear off. It can be polished, repaired and resized for generations, not replaced every season.
When plating wears through, it exposes the metal beneath — often nickel, the most common cause of allergic skin reactions in the world, and one that affects far more women than men. Solid gold has no such core to hide.
And because we never plate, our makers are never exposed to the cyanide baths the plating industry runs on. Jewellery that's kinder to your skin, and to the hands that make it.
Sourcing Australian gold means the mines adhere to federal guidelines for environmental protection, land rehabilitation, and worker safety — or at least as sustainable as new solid gold can be.
Our solid gold is sourced from Australian supplier Palloys.
Our 100% Australian gold claim is independently verified by an auditor from the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC), backed by Palloys' certifications and sustainability reporting.
MADE TO LAST
Plated pieces are made to be replaced. Solid gold is made to be kept — polished back to life, passed down, and, one day, melted and remade again. Gold never loses its worth.
