OUR METALS

100% Australian gold.

Our jewellery is made from 100% Australian gold, sourced and worked here at home. Because our supply chain stays in Australia, we know exactly where our gold comes from, how it's been refined, and that no one was exploited to make it.

Solid gold all the way through. Never a plated shell.

Most "gold" jewellery is base metal dipped in a skin of gold just microns thick — a fraction of the width of a human hair. A few years of wear and it rubs through at the clasps, the shank, the edges, then dulls and tarnishes.

We don't do plating. Ours is solid 9ct gold from surface to core — there's nothing to wear off, so it can be polished, repaired and resized for generations, not replaced every season.

No hidden metals. No toxic plating baths.

Nickel is the most common cause of allergic skin reactions in the world — and it affects far more women than men, largely from a lifetime of earrings and everyday jewellery. When plating wears through, it can expose exactly that kind of base metal beneath. Solid gold has no such core to hide.

And because we never plate, our makers are never exposed to the cyanide baths much of the plating industry has long relied on. Jewellery that's kinder to your skin, and to the hands that make it.

Refined in Australia, by Palloys.

Our gold is supplied by Palloys, part of Pallion — Australia's largest independent precious-metals group, refining and manufacturing in Sydney since 1951.

Sourcing Australian gold means the mines behind it answer to federal environmental law, land-rehabilitation bonds, and strict worker-safety regulation. It's about as responsible as newly worked solid gold gets.

100% Australian gold — audited, and guaranteed.

"100% Australian gold" isn't a turn of phrase. Palloys was the first Australian jeweller certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC), and is the only one the RJC recognises as able to guarantee 100% Australian gold — a claim substantiated on Palloys' own certificate after an independent audit of its refining, supply chain and human-rights commitments. Refined by their sister company ABC Refinery, the only Australian refiner that can trace its metal straight back to the mine, it means your gold can be followed from the ground to your hand.

Solid gold, answered.

MADE TO LAST

Made to last beyond your lifetime, and become the heirlooms of tomorrow.

Plated pieces are made to be replaced. Solid gold is made to be kept — polished back to life, passed down, and, one day, melted and remade again. Gold doesn't rust or fade; virtually all the gold ever mined is still in circulation somewhere in the world. Yours is meant to stay in the family.
