Black Friday Is Against Our Values

Black Friday Is Against Our Values

Here's why >

Many of you have emailed and dm'd me asking if I'll be having a Black Friday Sale, and I'm sorry to disappoint, but as a small business, where every piece is made to order with love in my small studio, having sales doesn't make sense.

Black Friday sales are a way for manufacturers who have made too much stock to turn a profit.

I used to work in the fashion industry, and sales aren't real. A brand will never sell something for less than they intended to in the first place, meaning that they put huge markups on their items so the "sale" price looks better by comparison.

I understand that sales make items more accessible for people. However, when pricing my pieces, I don't participate in the industry standard markups.

The bottom line is, frenzy sales encourage impulse & unsustainable consumption, and I desire to create pieces that are worn intentionally and passed down through generations.

Much Love,
