Love giving you the blues?

The Black as My Heart Onyx ring now has a moody sister, for the romantics with the blues.

However, lapis is not always sad!
In Egypt, it was said to lead the soul to immortality and open the mind to wisdom as the colour of royalty.

Lapis has a deeply rooted connection to creative pursuits, ground into ultramarine pigments by the artists of the renaissance, following the artefacts of the ancient worlds.

Lapis empowers your senses, helping you find inner peace, intuition and deep thought.
WHY IS LAPIS SO SPECIAL?
Originating from the Persian word for the gem, lāžward, lapis lazuli is made up of three minerals, lazurite, calcite and pyrite which gives the stone flecks of gold, like the stars of the night sky. Some of the other minerals commonly found in Lapis Lazuli are: Dolomite, Mica, Sodalite, Feldspar, and Diopside.
Lapis has a deeply rooted connection to creative pursuits, ground into ultramarine pigments by the artists of the renaissance, following the artefacts of the ancient worlds. Used within the sistine chapel and to adorn King Tut's tomb, and ground into the most expensive eyeshadows for the likes of Cleopatra.
The stone is revered not only for its striking colour but for its connection to cosmic wisdom. Buddhists believe that it brings freedom from negativity.
Lapis is a birthstone of September, along with blue sapphire! Did you know that wearing your birthstone attracts good luck.
