Pinned up in my studio is one of my most treasured testimonies from a custom wedding band order last year; it inspires my work, and reminds me how grateful I am to be among amazing female artists and business owners.
" Just a small thing, I hope you don’t mind me sharing how this ring experience so far has been fab for Dave’s 9 year old daughter. As this is the first time she is learning about artists vs. high street shops and small businesses, and particularly, female artists and businesses! We don't get really much of a chance to teach her these things and she’s become so curious that a passion can be something you can make into a business but that it's really hard, and she’s even said “but I thought only boys could be businessmen” and you’ve given us the opportunity to talk about this.
And she is so excited that you’re in Aus as my boss that she adores is in Bungendore NSW so she’s obsessed with Australia, and said “you should say thank you to Hayley as she messages you more than those other shops did so she is a nice person because you ask lots of questions.” She’s also asked if we could pass on: “ I’m glad she is going to do your rings as she looks very cool and I can you tell her I have a leather jacket too”
So as prompted by little Daisy-Mae, (Head Bridesmaid), thank you again for being such a nice person and a talented AF artist and business leader that we’ll have a memory forever with our precious wedding rings. "
