Year of the Fire Horse

How to welcome luck and good fortune for your year ahead...

The 17th of February marks the Chinese Lunar New Year of the Fire Horse.

The current year, Wood Snake, called for the shedding of old stories and habits. “In Eastern culture, the horse represents action, freedom, speed and breakthrough,” Susan Gu, a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner.

As we transition between the two it is important to declutter our spaces, our minds, and set intentions for the year of momentum and rapid change.

Some lucky practices for the first day of the Chinese New Year :

- Your day 1 energy sets the tone for your year. Bring positive energy into your year through affirmations.

- Wash your hair the night before, if you wash it on the day, you will wash your good fortune away!

and the luckiest of all, wearing red and symbols associated with the horse!!

We are wearing garnets and horseshoes all year long 𓃗
